Exercise of the Week:

Supine Abdominal Bicycle

  1. Laying on your back, extend one led striaght out at a 45 degree angle
  2. Place the other food next to the extended knee and place your hands behind your head or neck
  3. Crunch and rotate oposite elbow to oposite knee and switch

Member of the Quarter — Frances Jewell

1. Why did you join the KAC?
To be able to enjoy the finer foods and beverages in life and to stay fit!

2. What activities do you participate in at the KAC? How often?
I am here daily. I take Spin class, use cardio machines, lift weights, and relax in the pool

3. What is your favorite Group Exercise Class? Why?
Spinning! I enjoy the workout and the social component of getting to know people in the class.

4. What motivates you to maintain an active lifestyle?
I have been athletic my whole life. I enjoy workout out, its a way of life. I want to be as healthy as possible

5. What do you enjoy most about being a member at the KAC?
The classes the equipment, getting to know people who take classes, working out at the K.A.C. and most of all the staff!!!!
